I hold a degree in Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the California
Institute of Integral Studies. Additionally, I hold a degree in Bachelors of Arts from
the University of California at Santa Cruz where I studied Women Studies and
Legal studies, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Davis.
My path to counseling came after a long tenure in the legal world. I have
extensive experience in the criminal justice field, defending civil rights and prison
rights, working with folks on death row, and most recently working as a Public
